NoImgData is an iOS privacy utility. When you share a photo, it carries invisible metadata: exact GPS coordinates, device make and model, capture timestamp down to the second, and a history of every app that touched it. NoImgData reads that data, shows it to you in plain language, and removes what you choose - saving a clean copy while leaving the original untouched. Everything runs locally using Apple's native ImageIO and Core Graphics frameworks. There is no server, no network request, no analytics SDK.

## Privacy commitment

Firestorm SRL holds no personal data about any user. The app binary contains no HTTP client, no analytics SDK (no Firebase, Sentry, Mixpanel, or equivalent), no advertising network, and no remote configuration. Apple may provide Firestorm SRL with aggregated, anonymised App Store statistics (total downloads, country-level counts, crash counts) that cannot be linked to an individual. Users who have opted into crash sharing in iOS Privacy settings may have anonymised crash logs forwarded by Apple - these contain no photo data and no personal identifiers.

## How it works

1. User picks a photo from their iOS Photos library
2. The app decodes all embedded metadata (EXIF, IPTC, XMP) and displays it in plain language, grouped by risk level
3. User selects which fields to strip (or strips all with one tap)
4. The app writes a new clean copy to the Photos library; the original is never modified
5. The user shares or saves the clean copy

## Frequently asked questions

Q: Does NoImgData send photos anywhere?
A: No. There is no network code in the app for image processing. It works identically in Airplane Mode.

Q: Do cleaned photos still look the same?
A: Yes. Only metadata is changed; pixels are untouched. Color profiles are preserved.

Q: What file formats are supported?
A: JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, WebP, and most RAW formats.

Q: Is there an Android version?
A: Not yet. Android is on the roadmap.
